  • 1982  - Graduated from Medical School at the University of Pisa.
  • 1990  - Radiology Assistant at the University of Pisa involved in vascular and interventional radiology.
  • 1992  - Certificat Europeen d’Echographie Clinique (Association Europèenne de Radiologie).     
  •  1993/1996, 2001/2005,
    2008/2009 - Assistant Professor in Radiology for training in vascular ultrasound at the University of Pisa.
  • Is a reviewer of scientific manuscripts submitted for publication in European Journal of Radiology.
  • Published  over 50 papers or chapters in the fields of ultrasonography and of diagnostic and interventional vascular radiology.
